Al Amal Mosque of Châteauguay
The Châteauguay Mosque is a sacred place of worship and community gathering for local Muslims. It allows worshippers to pray together, learn about their faith, and strengthen community bonds.
Dedicated spaces and activities are provided for youth to learn, socialize, and actively participate in community life. Quran and Sunnah classes help deepen faith and practice.
Quran Verse: 'And establish prayer and give zakah, and bow with those who bow [in worship].' (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:43)
Hadith: The Prophet ﷺ said: 'The mosque is a house of light.' (Sahih Muslim)
The mosque also functions as a community center to host lectures, cultural and social events, and to provide support to all members.
It promotes values of solidarity, respect, and knowledge. Visitors can access educational resources, programs for children and adults, as well as spiritual and cultural activities.
The mosque encourages interfaith dialogue and active participation in Châteauguay's community life.
